About Balanced Soul Yoga
I chose the name Balanced Soul Yoga because I truly believe that that is what yoga does; it balances your soul, and your entire life, and allows you to live fully.
I want to help others learn how to balance their lives by decreasing their stress levels, learning how to take care of their bodies, and pushing themselves to their greatest potential.
By living your life to its absolute fullest you are free and I believe everyone should be free!
My Vision & Passion
My mission is to create an inclusive environment for every person, man or woman, who wishes to explore their passion of yoga in a safe and judgement free way.
I teach with creativity and ensure each sequence is created intelligently so that your practice is safe. Props and modifications are core pieces of our classes thus allowing each person to enter the posture in their own way.
There has been this thought around yoga that you need to be flexible or stand on your head to be a good yogi; this is incorrect and my goal is to shift that mindset. Yoga is for EVERY BODY. If you are ready to learn more about your body, if you want to enhance your health, and if you believe you can do anything, than yoga is for you and I want to help!
I am so very passionate about yoga and every one of its benefits! Yoga has changed my life, and mindset, in so many ways and I know it can do the same for you!
I wanted to introduce you to the face behind Balanced Soul Yoga.
My name is Kristine and I a mom, yogi, wife, food lover, and all around cool chick! You can find me on Instagram at @balancedsoulyoga or on my Facebook group page where I post all the information about classes and workshops coming up in the future as well a pictures of myself and my family doing all the yoga stuff.
I am an everyday yogi; I am not a size 2, and that's okay. I am strong (I can Chatarunga like nobody's business) and I am extremely capable, even though I don't have a flat stomach or skinny thighs! My goal, in this business, is to show you that it is okay if you look different than the stereotypical 'yogi' because that has nothing to do with the practice of yoga. I want to show you that yoga is about how your body feels when you move it in a safe and meaningful way. Whether you are 100 lbs or 300 lbs, yoga is for you and I am here to prove that to you!
I have so many plans for this business that include retreats, videos you can follow along with, workshops, weekend intensives and many more. So stick with me friends because its going to be a pretty incredible ride!
