5 Day Introduction to Yoga Challenge
Have you always told yourself that you could never practice yoga because you are not flexible enough, not strong enough, or that you don't look like one of those teeny tiny yogi's on instagram?
Have you wanted to try yoga but just didn't feel comfortable going to a class?
I have created a free 5 day "Introduction to Yoga for the Everyday Yogi" where I will guide you through 5 days of different yoga poses to show you that you ABSOLUTELY CAN practice yoga even if you cannot touch your toes.
Each class is approximately 10-15 minutes long and it has a lot of modifications for each pose so that everyone can feel the benefits of the practice.
If you want to check it out, and check out how I teach to decide if I am the right teacher for you, then I invite you to join this 5 day yoga challenge with me!
During today's class I will be breaking down the common "vinyasa flow" that you see in many vinyasa classes.
Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on movement with the breath. This can be very overwhelming for the beginner yogi because, not only do you not know how to get into the pose safely, it is a totally new concept of bringing awareness to your breath as you move through the poses.
In this class I will break down all the poses in the vinyasa flow (or sometimes you might hear it called Surya Namaskar A, but I don't follow the traditional Surya flow, as I like to add my own modification and flare, so it is not exactly the same as a traditional Surya A) and provide your modifications that you may utilize as you are building your understanding of this style of yoga practice. I will also help guide you in moving through each posture with your breath.
